Funded by the Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner, Piece By Piece is a short-term, targeted support service for 11–25-year-olds who have experienced trauma, are at risk of or involved in criminal activity (as victims or perpetrators), or are displaying anti-social behaviour at home, in school or in the community.
Delivered over eight sessions, Piece By Piece offers flexible, community-based support, meeting young people and their families where they feel most comfortable.
Using a trauma-informed approach, support workers help young people make sense of their experiences, build resilience and develop healthy coping strategies.
Alongside this, Piece By Piece offers restorative family sessions that create space for open communication and help rebuild relationships.
