A Partnership Rooted in Community Impact

In 1967, when Peter Jones opened his saddlery stall in the cattle market in Abergavenny, he couldn’t have known that the company that bears his name would become a global exporter, working with clients from the UK and Europe to the USA and Asia. These days the company design and manufacture carrying solutions for devices, technology and equipment. Their range includes their industry-leading Klick Fast Mounting System, duty and utility belts, harnesses, device cases and their new Delta range.
The innovative injection moulding company Peter worked with would become JC Moulding, now a sister company to Peter Jones. Together, the companies developed the Delta Range, a range of carrying solutions designed to be more sustainable, lightweight, an cost-effective.

“The ethos behind the Delta range is that it should ‘Make a Difference’. We set out to make a product that was cost-effective and sustainable, and wanted to help the people in our community too. We’re delighted to make this donation to Mind in Gwent, especially as we know that this is the first of many.”

Andrew Griffiths, Head of Business Development at Peter Jones and JC Moulding, emphasised the importance of the initiative.

The donation represents the beginning of an ongoing pledge: for every item sold in the Delta Range, Peter Jones and JC Moulding will contribute directly to Mind in Gwent, helping fund vital mental health services across the region. This initiative reinforces the companies’ belief that supporting wellbeing is just as essential as protecting workers in the environments they serve.

The Delta Range is manufactured through Peter Jones’ sister company, JC Moulding, whose integrated tooling, design and injection moulding capabilities ensure high-quality, sustainable production. Once items in the range reach end of life, plastic components can be returned for recycling, where they will be reground and repurposed, furthering the organisation’s environmental commitments.

Mike Walmsley, Head of Income Generation and Business Development at Mind in Gwent said, “We were delighted when Peter Jones and JC Moulding came to us last year with an idea to generate funds to support grassroots mental health in their community through sales of their new Delta Range. We have been blown away by the success of the product and the donations linked to it. On behalf of everyone at Mind in Gwent, I would like to thank the team at Peter Jones and JC Moulding for their ongoing support.”
